I am not a huge fan of landscapes but last month, I had the pleasure of having JPG Magazine publish my image, “Where the two colors meet”. I submitted it under the Night Time theme.
I was given some money and a year of free subscription on top.
I will keep submitting until I can get my portrait work up and exposed.

Methuse and I have been working on a project in Romoland which is just south of Perris.
There is nothing out in this area. Just lots of land and nothing to eat.
It is very hot in the summer reaching up to 120 degrees at its hottest point.
There is this monumental Motel sign that stands right over this really crappy motel out there.
It just drew me in. So I photographed it.
Now Romoland is on the map!
Trying to make a difference in this world can be challenging yet at the same time, it can be highly contagious.
So we sat watching American Idol and we couldn’t believe how much change we could make with just a few dollars. It’s heartwarming to see such a large and successful show like Idol really giving back to those in Africa but also those who are the working poor right here in the USA.
We donated $100 which feeds one orphan in Kenya for a full year. We hope that Idol reaches their goal of $100 million dollars! Please donate as much as you can. Even if it’s just $5 bucks. It will make a difference.
