Aress & Leah: Free at last!

The day was hot and the church was small but once it all came together, it was a glorious ceremony!

This August day was very very hot. By the time it hit 9am, it was already in the high 90′s but that didnt get in the way of everyone’s enthusiasm. Aress was nervous as he kept pacing back and forth waiting for his wife to be. When Leah finally got to the church, the special magic feeling was sinking in.

Today Aress and Leah united and became a single entity which hopefully allows them to spend some quiet and alone time that they have been longing. As the priest said, “Aress, you have now been ARRESSted and can no longer escape the love of Leah!”

Congratulations guys. May your love grow stronger every day!!

Dan + Loralee Wed!

Dan and Loralee finally tied the knot this past weekend in Monarch Beach and it was a gorgeous ceremony!
I met Loralee back in college where we had a lot of classes together but first met in basic photography.
She also met the man of her dreams here as well! Go anteaters!
Marine weddings are so cool…. having soldiers hold swords for you as you are walking out of your wedding is so badass!

Jacob’s Portrait Session

Today we got the chance to meet the Kalt’s and their beautiful family.
Jacob, Adam, Rachel and Hannah all so beautiful and unique with their own personalities.

Jacob is turning 7 and Amber hired us to photograph him and his party the following day.
Jacob is quite the sports enthusiast. You name it, he plays it.
Basketball, baseball, swimming, football, running, etc…. on and on.

In order to get Jacob used to the camera, I had to develop a quick bond with him.
So basketball it was. Do I play basketball? Does it look like I play basketball? No!
Even worse, I had to do it one handed with a camera!
Jacob definitely showed me up with all his skills and it was so worth it to watch him play.
